After years of testing several different products, we have narrowed it down to our favorites. From glassware to the perfect onions, these will guarantee the best martini experience every time.

Kitchen Scale
It is imperative you have one of these in your kitchen. This will guarantee you get the correct amount of gin and vermouth in your martini. You want a scale that has multiple units (grams, milliliters, pounds, etc). This one has an easy-to-read interface, as well as a timer to monitor your pour over brewing you’ll need after your martini hangovers.

Cocktail Onions
Your Gibson will be perfect every time with these delicious onions. They’re briny with just the right amount of vermouth. We got these at a restaurant and now won’t buy anything else. Buy here.

Martini Napkins
Nothing wrong with cocktail paper napkins, but they don’t always do the job, especially if you’re having appetizers. Function meets sophistication with these handmade ones from an artist on Etsy. We use them frequently, and they last well after cocktail hour. Get yours here.

Schott Zwiesel Pure Tour Martini Glasses
What’s a martini without the proper glass? These emulate the glass v shape but the angled design gives it a nice twist. Find yours here.

Cocktail Mixing Glass
There’s the old debate of if a martini should be shaken or stirred. Most restaurants shake their martinis, but at home, we like to stir it. Eric says it prevents the gin from bruising. There are so many great designs, at a very inexpensive price, so get one that speaks to you. Ours is here.

Cocktail Mixer Set
You do not need anything fancy, just get the basic tools, like this one here. It has a shaker, strainer, bar spoon and measuring jigger. This is a bit pricey, but it’ll last you a long time.

Mezzetta Imported Spanish Olives
Forget the fancy, artisan overpriced olives. Sure, they’re fun once in a while, but all you need are these you can get at your local grocery store. Stuff them or not, they’ll be perfect. I also like to use the olive brine for a dirty martini.

A Bar Above Cocktail Picks
Love the sleek design, and the length. Our old ones didn’t fit three olives (my ideal number of olives on a martini, thank you very much!), so these fit the bill. Get yours here.

Aglaea Vermouth Dry
So smooth and blends in perfectly with any martini. We get it at our local cheese shop, and you might be able to get it at your specialty store. If not, Dolin Vermouth is just fine!

Peeler
Get that perfect lemon twist with this Kitchen Aid brand. The wide peeler ensures you get a nice peel each time. It’s very sharp, so be careful! Get it here.
